언제나처럼 죽음이라는 소재를 다룬 요시모토 바나나의 하드보일드 & 하드 럭..
작가의 실재 경험담이기에 좀 더 리얼(??)하게 읽었다고 해야 할 지..
특히, 하드 럭은 결혼을 앞둔 언니의 죽음을 소재로 다루면서 가장 가깝게 사랑한 사람을 잃음과 동시에 (그 사람으로 인해 알게된) 새로운 사랑이 찾아오는 내용을 담고 있다.
글쎄..난 내게 소중한 사람들이 곁에 있기에 막상 누군가 영원히 떠나간다면 어떤 감정일까 상상이 되지 않는다..하지만, 누군가를 잃는다는거...가슴이 무너질만큼..두 발로 버티고 설 수 없을만큼 힘든 생활이 아닐까싶다..매 일상에서 그 사람을 떠올리게 할 기억들이 너무 많이 생각날테니....
하지만, 바나나가 말하고 싶은건...
그런 어려운 순간은 계절이 바뀌듯이 자연스럽게 삶에 동화되어 또 다른 기억의 단편으로 간직하게 된다는 것이다..
책 두께는 얇지만, 책을 읽고 난 후에 남는 여운이 많은 책이다.
그게 바나나의 매력이 아닐까 싶다..
